The Canon RF 35mm f/1.4L VCM Lens is a full-frame, mount-on RF-mount camera, wide-angle L-series hybrid prime lens for both stills and video. It is ideal for landscape, wide portraits, events and architecture photography. The lens features a fast f/1.4 aperture for excellent low-light performance, and its 11-blade iris creates a soft, cinematic bokeh. It also includes advanced focus and optical technologies, such as a Voice Coil Motor (VCM) for fast rear focus and a Nano USM for quiet, accurate autofocus. Two UD elements reduce chromatic aberrations, colour fringing, and distortion, ensuring sharp, clear images. The lens also has a manual iris and focus rings for video work. It has a minimum focus distance of 11.02-in (28 cm) for close-up shots.
